My figurative drawings studies and nudes about the body and its moves. These drawings have a special importance within my graphic works. The serial centres the human being because it doesn’t need more, liberated from decoration and distraction, reduced to the basics. The body as a mirror of an inner deep and true emotionality. And only your own reality tells what you see, what you imagine and what you feel. The nakedness in that context doesn’t mean only vulnerability, it implies also an uprising and force. If you keep an eye on the body as a landscape, you detect the beauty and intensity in every little breath and move. That’s a mystery and an answer too, the nature and a part of the genesis. Passion as the engine that enables us to move mountains, to break out of routines and to feel and to interact stronger. The drawings of this serial admit to an intensive life, and I normally use graphite, charcoal and ink on handmade paper for that graphic picture language.
